I spent 25 years in the corporate world, recruiting and training staff, managing teams, conceptualizing, building, marketing, and delivering leadership training programs for companies in the US, Canada, as well as globally. I trained and certified as a software implementation expert, where I managed bringing new processes and procedures around recruitment, benefits, and learning management systems to life across the organizations. I was impacted by the changes Covid brought to the corporate world and found myself out of work as companies downsized. What seemed like an unfortunate event turned into an opportunity. I have taken my passion for helping people and using a skillset that I spent more than 25 years building and turned it into work that I truly love doing; helping therapists build and grow their practices.
A friend of mine had started a private Mental Health Counseling practice back in 2009, and although the practice was existing, it was not thriving. I grew his business from revenue of 11k per month, to 45k per month- in less than a year! (9 months to be exact).
I was contacted by a client of the practice who wanted to build his business as an ADHD coach. In 6 months, we have increased his client load from 6 to 11 clients, and he is continuing to grow.
I met a pair of new grads at a recruiting event who wanted to start their own business versus go to work for a private practice or agency. I helped them with their name, a logo, a slogan, and a website. I built a resources guide that will allow them to continue to generate leads and increase their client load. They are well on their way to building their business in a thriving area of Tampa.
