Oftentimes in private practice, staff are coming and going without ever really having a conversation with other team members- where the team doesn't feel a sense of belonging. As a busy practice owner/manager, you don't have time to deal with this. It is important for people to feel part of something, and small things like a quarterly luncheon, or a monthly team meeting could make the difference! It's not as simple as ordering sandwiches from Firehouse and sitting around- it needs to be purposeful.
